Goblet Of Fire DVD Release Much Earlier Than Expected



Warner Home Video has announced that Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is coming to DVD, four weeks earlier than what was previously reported.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire will soon be on DVD, as Warner Home Video will release a two-disc set on March 7, 2006.

J K Rowling Set To Begin Final Harry Potter Book



Rowling admitted on her official website: "I can't quite imagine life without Harry."

Work on the follow-up to Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will begin in January. J K Rowling is known for her painstaking preparation for each book. She tells BBC that despite the stategizing, every book presents one chapter that proves terribly difficult to write. Chapter nine of Goblet of Fire was her biggest hurdle so far.

Researchers Prove Harry Potter Books Reduce Childhood Accidents



So, the title says it all. I recommend you read the entire piece of published research in the British Medical Journal. Given the context, the scientific writer, Stephen Gwilym, added a bit of Rowlingesque language to his text.

Will Disney Build A Harry Potter Land ?



Disney executives are imagining a huge complex with rides devoted to the Harry Potter stories. The Singapore site would occupy a full city block and rise to six or seven storeys.

Each storey would feature one of the Harry Potter books.

Daniel Radcliffe is in talks to star in a controversial stage play.

The 16-year-old is being considered for director Kenneth Branagh's version of Peter Shaffer's Equus.

Harry Potter Drops To 3rd Place At Box Office

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, the top film the past two weekends, fell to third with $10.3 million, raising its domestic total to $244.1 million.

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, adapted from C.S. Lewis’ tale of epic battles and talking animals, debuted as the weekend’s top movie with $67.1 million. The thriller Syriana was second with $12 million.

Mrs. Weasley to Return For 5th Movie



Julie Walters, who played Mrs. Weasley in the first three Harry Potter movies, did not appear in 'The Goblet Of Fire'.

She expects to reprise the role in the fifth movie, based on a book in which her character has her own chapter.

Goblet Of Fire Has Surpassed Previous Films' Box Office Totals

The latest film has outperformed the first three at the US box office
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire has topped the US box office for a third consecutive week.

The fourth adaptation in the JK Rowling series took $20.4m, according to studio estimates, helping it to a worldwide total of $560m.

Harry Potter Most Popular Person In The Blogosphere

Fictional character Harry Potter led President George W. Bush as a source of personality "buzz" among bloggers in 2005, according to BlogPulse.com. Potter was mentioned in 5.5% of all blog posts in mid-July, when Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince book was published, and in 2.5% of blog posts in January and November, respectively, when the Goblet of Fire movie trailer and film premiered.
